Overview
This indicator measures the ability of government entities to manage and provide high-quality data in line with global standards and practices. It aims to evaluate and monitor the performance of government entities in meeting governmental requirements under the UAE Vision "We the UAE 2031," global competitiveness indicators, and the provision of data needed by decision-makers for planning and policy development. This is based on the standards of the regulatory and operational framework for data management, enhancing data quality, and ensuring data flow and availability.
The Goal
This indicator aims to enhance the ability of the Federal Government Entities to manage and administer up-to-date and high-quality data to the Decision Makers, in accordance to the International standards & best practices.
The aim is to evaluate and monitor the performance of those Federal Entities in fulfilling the requirements of the National Agenda, The International Competiveness Indicators and the necessity to provide data for the purposes of planning & development of policies.
DI Dimensions
The index is divided into 3 main dimensions that represent the main pillars of data management in the Federal Entities. The weightage has been defined in accordance to the importance of each dimension as follows:
